Graduates posing in the Triumph library before a brief ceremony
Triumph High School operates on a quarter system which means students take fewer classes at a time, four at a time instead of eight like the traditional high schools in LCSD1, and can earn a half credit (which usually takes a semester) in a quarter, so students graduate during the year and not just at the usual end of the year ceremony. This fall, three Triumph students earned a diploma at the end of the first quarter. These students were Michael (Trey) Jack, Alexyss Ingleby, and David (Alastor) Bjorgvinsson. These students worked diligently and earned the credits necessary to earn a diploma, which is the same number of credits and requirements as all LCSD1 graduates, and with the way Triumph is set up, they crossed the finish line in October and are eagerly moving on to the next phase of their young lives.
