Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain visited Triumph High on April 30 and guided students through their Dream Accelerator. The program, which is funded by the Daniels Fund, allows students an opportunity to anticipate and map out potential futures they would like to experience.

The Daniels Fund JA Dream Accelerator is an interactive and responsive career exploration experience that inspires students to develop a plan to pursue a meaningful career and future.
This exciting experience helps students realize their strengths and interests and how they align with a variety of career choices. Students are motivated by insights from emerging entrepreneurs and stories of Colorado visionaries, tailored to each student’s interests and aptitudes. Volunteers guide students through each of the interactives and share their own real-life experiences to encourage them to think deeply about their future.
Triumph student Trinity Munoz said that the experience was very valuable because she was able to see “actual numbers and costs for things like cars and other stuff we want to have in our lives.” Milo Sloan added, “connecting with the volunteer helped me explore possible careers and I was able to ask questions and get clarification.”
Triumph High School and LCSD1 are dedicated to preparing students for life and careers once they graduate and programs like this allow for them to actively and directly affect this preparation.
