The beautiful summer weather held on for a bit longer to accommodate the annual Triumph High Back to School Barbeque. The sun was (mostly) shining as students and their families joined Triumph staff including new principal, Mike Maloney in sharing some hot dogs, chips, and cookies. Students and their families had a chance to chat with teachers they have had and are going to have while catching up with school friends and enjoying the anticipation of a new school year. The barbeque reflects the family atmosphere that permeates Triumph and this event allows students and teachers, along with administration and families to ease back into the serious business of the school year and preparing students for life after high school. Many students and staff were accompanied by extended families and numerous young children for this cherished event. Laughter and light-hearted conversations dominated and it seems to bode well for another great year at Triumph High School.
